  • Do you get on well with your daughter?
  • Yes.  We live together at home and we get on well.  Last night we ate together.
  • What did you have?
  • I made a pizza and she bought chips from the takeaway.  Unfortuately, I burned the pizzas, so we just had chips!
  • What did you do after dinner?
  • I read the newspapers and she was in the living room for a while watching telly.
  • Later on, she went out to her boyfriend’s for the night, but she came and chatted with me before she went.
  • What did you talk about?
  • I don’t remember.  Music, I think.

Use these phrases to translate the dialogue.
