USING TWO VERBS
The most common two-verb construction in Spanish is verb + infinitive. The first verb is conjugated, and the second verb stays in the infinitive form.

GENDER OF NOUNS
Many nouns that refer to people have different masculine and feminine forms.
- Nouns that end in -o for the masculine form often end in -a for the feminine form.
El maestro y la maestra

- Many nouns that end in -r for the masculine form add an -a to create the feminine form.
El profesor y la profesora
El doctor y la doctora
- Nouns that end in -e tend to stay the same for both genders. The only thing that changes are the words around them, such as el or la.
